I shopped for months looking for the best feature set, quality, and look for the price - and this is the set I ended up with. Two months later, I still love this TV. The picture is fantastic and X-Box 1080p HD looks completely mindblowing. I still only have a Samsung upconverting DVD player, but even those movies/shows on DVD look fantastic.

From lots of research and reading the reviews on this site, I was able to pick the best TV out of the crowd.This was by far a better price then the big box stores. I Purchased the item through Amazon from Vanns. Everything about the transaction was as advertised. I am very pleased with the unit to date(Arrived Dec. 12). We upgraded from a 19" tube! It was time.

Hey folks, I bought this full hdtv as a christmas gift for my husband, who enjoys spending hours every night in front of tv. Even though we still don’t know the potential this beauty offers, because we received it just a few days ago, I can assure you that this is the best tv we have had until now. Standard image is superb and its design is very classy and beautiful, it got slim and invisible speakers on the sides which make it look a little wider than other models, and more sober. Tv image definition is very clear, specially with directv, colors are vibrant and clean, and the most outstanding thing to notice is the depth of the blacks, which you will immediately notice when you turn the tv on, this makes a big difference in comparison with other tvs that aren’t full hd. Back connections are plenty, you can connect from component or composite, passing through coaxial, and even hdmi. There is an SD card reader on one of the sides to view digital pictures from your digital camera. The user guide is very precise, easy to understand and clear, and it comes in English and Spanish too. But please, connect this magnificent gem to a good home theatre system and, if you can, placed in a proper space, then you will get to yourself the nearest cinema experience you can have at home, you will feel like you were in the movies, I can guarantee. I highly recommend this tv, you can buy it with no doubt, it is definitely worth it and you won’t regret it.

Like some others who posted, I got this TV by taking advantage of the circuit city $1300 after thanksgiving sale (by price matching to Sears) making my cost $1200 + tax. I think it stacks up well against the comparable Sonys and Samsungs though I wouldn’t say its hands down better. At the price, it was a really easy decision.

Customer Review: Amazing TV
I bought this back in May ‘07 when it was a few hundred more. Well worth the money. I’ve had absolutely no problems with this TV since I bought it. I researched for months before buying. Screen is incredible for a 720 p, which rivals some 1020s I’ve seen at the big box stores. You can save screen settings for movies or video games and this TV will remember the setting. HDTV reception is very good, depending on your geography and external antennae. Swivel stand comes in handy. Great for movies, video games, and all around TV watching. CONS: the remote is weak, but it isn’t terrible. Shiny black border can reflect light. Despite those minor quibbles, this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

Can’t believe I got this much tv for the price I paid. Very satisfied. Picture is fantastic..size was perfect for my space. A little disapointed with the sound quality but I added speakers and that was good enough. Amazon cust service reps were so helpful, made me feel very comfortable with my purchase…delivery was supper smooth. I recomended this unit to 2 friends. Supper Bowl sunday was a good day in New York…thanks Amazon.

Customer Review: Sony — Simply Superb!
This television is — as I have come to expect from Sony — absolutely excellent! I have a large Sony HD Wega XBR in the livingroom (a CRT), and I wanted to replace the bedroom TV with an HD LCD. This 26" Bravia is a perfect fit for the room and the performance is superb. I have satellite service, so the HD picture is so realistic that it was positively spooky at first. I couldn’t be happier.

Customer Review: This product is so poor, that I am actually leaving a review
I have owned the TV now for a total of 5 months, unfortunately, the last three months the TV has been in repair (which is covered by the warranty). The customer service is poor, which makes the problem only worse. My TV was working fine, until one day, the screen went blank. Once this happened, a series of backordered parts for repair, incompetency, etc. prevailed, and I still do not have a functioning TV. Perhaps, the most frustrating aspect of this entire ordeal is that I bought a Phillips TV b/c I was under the impression it was better quality and thus reliable. I was mistaken. Please know that I am writing this review while I am on hold with customer service, now for the 13th week. Avoid this product at all costs! If you don’t believe me, just look up this TV and model series in google, and see all of the frustration forums.
