Customer Review: Happy with my Sony
Product arrived early and was easy to set up on my own. I did lots of research and the product provided all I was looking for. Picture is great and it has many features that provide flexibility for the future.
Customer Review: A “Best in Class” HDTV
WOW! We put off purchasing an HDTV for a long time because of the picture motion issues, granularity of the screen, etc. This 120hz Bravia is another example of Sony’s commitment to producing the best HDTV on the market.

Customer Review: HDMI cable issue
Everything about this set is wonderful but ONE: There is a known SONY flaw with this particular model (26-M4000) and the HDMI cable connection when connecting to an HD Cable Box. I experienced a very thin white line that I called a “pearl necklace” of digital interference at the top of the screen on ALL non-HD broadcast channels and many of the network HD channels. You can fake it out by using ZOOM but then you lose some of the picture. I guess you could live with it, but it annoyed the heck out of me. The workaround is to use component cables (provided for free by my cable company). I attached the component cables and “voila” — no more “pearl necklace” interference. The sound and picture are sterling but the quality is a tick less fine than with an HDMI hookup. But I paid $579, returned the Monster HDMI cable and saved myself that $80 expense, so I really have nothing to complain about.
Customer Review: Excellent 26″ LCD
Did quite a bit of research between Samsung and Sony on their lines of smaller LCDs - had a 22″ Samsung 650 but the viewing angles were not very good (very light from viewed from above, and very dark when viewed from below). This Sony has excellent picture from any viewing angle and the price is very comparable with other 26″ on the market.

Customer Review: Has no separate Antenna/Cable Inputs
The white glove delivery was smooth and picture and sound were the high quality I expect from Sony. But what a shock when I tried to connect the yagi antenna. On page 12 I was told to “go buy an A/B switch” and on page 46, as if an afterthought, I was told how to “Add Digital Channels” by using my A/B switch to select the antenna and doing another chanel scan (aka “Auto Program”). But FIRST you have to TELL the TV that you have swicched to the Antenna. This is the ONLY method, (nothing on the remote). This is what you have to do any time you want to “pop” over to the off-air local to see if, or enjoy, the program of interest in HD.
1. Press “Home” 2. Click three times to the left 2. Click twice up. 3. Press the center button (equivalent to “enter”),4. click once to the right 5, Click once down 6. click “enter” 7. click return three times.

Customer Review: The best price/value ratio and the best (period) total package now available
This TV has numerous advantages over the Samsung 6xx and 7xx series which it is often compared to. First off, the Samsung’s are fantastic TVs. The characteristics of the picture (color cast, primarily- which is different among makers- cool is cooler on one, neutral may be warmer on another and warm may be too warm for some viewers, etc.) should be judged by each individual viewer. There are some people who are going to like the Samsung’s picture better than the Sony’s, and vice versa.

Customer Review: Great Deal
This is the 4th large LCD TV I’ve ordered from amazon this year. This one was for my Aunt and she is totally thrilled with the set. The only think lacking is the 120hz. I have it on my 52 xbr4 but I also have a 46″ Sony much like this one in 1080P and it’s fine. The xbr4 is far above most in my un-expert opinion but I also love the 46″ without the 120hz. You really need to look at both sets to determine if you’ll appreciate the difference. If you’re set on a 120hz set; the Z set Sony has out now is a great deal. Keep in mind, Sony has almost no glare from any light source; a huge selling point in my opinion.
Customer Review: Great TV, Great Service
This is my first HD TV. After researching for about a month, I have compared Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, and finally chose this Sony. All these TVs are top-rated and have great picture quality, but what pushed me to the Sony were 3 things:

Customer Review: Excellent TV worth the Money
This is an excellent TV. Not many TVs of this size are Full HD (1080P). It also has really great contast ratios. It has a 25000:1 contrast ratio. The menus are really easy to use and very intuitive. It shipped quickly, and I was called the day before delivery to schedule a few hour window of when they would arrive with the TV. That made it very convenient.
Customer Review: Tickled pink.
Oh dear! I can hardly believe my eyes. I thought my Wega 23″ from Sony was an unsurpassable bedroom set due to its stunning picture quality and vividness, but I was wrong. Even within a couple of feet this 32XBR6 simply blows my mind. And what a rabbit it pulls out of the proverbial hat with standard cable channels! Through HDMI, it upconverts everything to 1080P and, by gosh, these standard cable channels actually look pretty darn decent. If this set is as reliable as my previous set, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t as they are both from Sony and the XBR family is this company’s top of the line TV’s, then my friends, you have here an outstanding winner that leaves everyone begging for a place in front of the screen.
