Customer Review: Shame on Sony
I decided to return this Sony Bravia TV- immediately after reading the install instructions and before plugging it in. The reason? Sony’s ridiculous solution and instructions for making sure the TV doesn’t fall over if one chooses not to hang it on the wall and, instead, chooses their second choice of trying to prop it up on a flat surface with the stupidly tiny prop they provide with the 19″ Bravia. Their “safety” instructions for using their silly little prop say to drill holes in my fine furniture on which it will sit and to screw the tiny prop down to the furniture. They also suggest you attach a cord to the top back of the TV and tie the cord to a hook screwed into the wall behind it. How dumb is that??? You tell me. I originally decided to buy a lightweight, 19″ LCD HDTV so that I could pick it up and move it around the house if and when I chose to. That silly, tiny prop is the dumbest idea I’ve seen in a long, long time. I’ve long admired and purchased Sony products for their quality and integrity. But the above described flaw is indeed a seriously poor design judgement. Shame on Sony for not providing a sturdy pedestal like the 19″ Samsung I bought instead.

Customer Review: Terrible TV
I am terribly disappointed by the quality of this product. Like others have mentioned, the picture is basically a fuzzy, pixelated mess. We got the original one and the picture quality was poor. Sony agreed to exchange it for us, and the second one was even worse than the first. This one is also going back, and we’re looking elsewhere for a TV.

Customer Review: Money well spent
The TV arrived as promised. The TV itself is outstanding - awesome picture quality, sounds is great, 180 degree viewing angle, more than enough connection ports and most of all, easy to use remote. I highly recommend this HDTV to everyone!
Customer Review: Great TV at an affordable price, not flawless though
It suprises me that Sony come up with a 46″, 1080P at less than $1600 retail. I own a 42″ Panasonic Plasma and need to get another TV for the basement, and admittedly I want one bigger than 42″ too since I sit almost 12 ft away from the TV. Been looking for a LCD this time because of lower energy usage and reflection problem in my living room.

Sony Bravia Z-Series KDL-46Z4100/S 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Silver Look no further than the KDL-46Z4100 for the most strikingly stunning and flat-out sophisticated HDTV Sony has to offer. With a remarkably slim bezel design, Motionflow 120Hz for the reproduction of smooth, lifelike images, BRAVIA Engine 2 and ACE for deeper blacks and crisp shadow detail, this TV’s sensational design is only matched by its picture. But phenomenal image quality and show-stopping design isn’t all. The KDL-46Z4100 also includes DLNA compatibility so you can access your digital photo collection over your home network (additional DLNA components required; sold separately). DMex is also on board for an optional digital connection to innovative expansion modules like the BRAVIA Internet video link for exciting web-based content. The Digital Media Port (DMP) is included for connecting your portable digital audio devices like iPod and Walkman music players.
Customer Review: Great Buy!
This was such a great deal from Amazon. I saved so much money by ordering this TV on Amazon as opposed to going somewhere local to buy it. Also, Its just a great TV. There’s not a brand out there that can beat the Sony picture. So far the TV is beautiful to look at. Very thin. And VERY easy to set up and start using. Have had no problems at all. I am very happy with this purchase!
Customer Review: Excellent Television
TV arrived ahead of schedule and in good condition. The picture quality is excellent. I haven’t seen any “sparkles” or other problems with this unit. I highly recommend this product.

Customer Review: Great Sony Picture Quality + white dot “sparkle” issue fixed
I just brought this TV and love love it. It was between this model and a Samsung model when I went looking. I had a lot of Sony products so I went with this model. I am so glad I did. We have another HD TV but the regular station look bland. Not withthis TV the regular stations look great and the HD station look even better. The TV has a guide which walks you through the steps to set it up which are very easy. I love this TV no regrets. It did cost a few hundred dollars more than some other brand models but well worth it. You won’t be sorry if you invest the extra money and get this TV.

Customer Review: XBR clouds continue
Purchased the 40″ Sony Bravia XBR6 LCD TV hoping that this newest release of the XBR series would be “mura” free. Mura is the technical term for a cloudy looking background image appearing on an LCD screen in dark or black scenes. The mura in the set I purchased covered a good 60% of the total area. Sony agreed to replace the LCD display panel after it was examined by a certified technician in our home. I decided NOT to go that route as the set was only one week out of the box and one month from its manufacture date. Besides, my research uncovered that the cost of the part was twice the cost of what I paid for the new set in the first place. Amazon customer service department and CEVA/Eagle shipping were both very professional and responsive to the problem, and I was promptly credited the full purchase price.
