Buy Sony BRAVIA V Series KDL 40V5100 40 Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV For consumers who want an HDTV that keeps pace with fast-action movies, sports, and game play, Sony BRAVIA V-Series Flat Panel HDTVs combine Full HD 1080p performance and Motionflow 120Hz technology for an amazing viewing experience. Motionflow 120Hz takes both high-definition and standard programming a step further by increasing sharpness and detail in fast-moving images for more fluid, natural motion. In addition, BRAVIA V-Series HDTVs use proprietary Image Blur Reduction technology to further enhance the picture for even better performance. The HDTVs also feature BRAVIA Engine 2 technology, which uses exclusive Sony algorithms to reduce visual noise and sharpen and enhance an already-striking dynamic contrast ratio. Additionally, they include seven versatile HD connections to ensure you get impressive image quality from all your HD components. Take advantage of four HDMI inputs, component and composite inputs, and a PC input, as well as a USB input that lets you play audio files from USB storage devices, or connect a compatible camera to your HDTV for a quick and easy slide show. Sony knows your home theater set-up doesn’t stop with your HDTV, which is why the BRAVIA V-Series HDTVs are compatible with BRAVIA Link Modules — including the BRAVIA Wireless Link, BRAVIA DVD Link, and BRAVIA Input Link Modules (all sold separately). The HDTVs also support BRAVIA SyncTM technology so you can control all of your compatible devices with a single remote. And all BRAVIA HDTVs exceed ENERGY STAR 3.0 requirements for in-use and stand-by power consumption, meaning you don’t need a lot of power to get a lot of performance.
Customer Review: False Marketing
Even though the TV’s box has a big “Dolby Digital” logo, and marketing specification claim DD, this TV cannot output DD 5.1 audio when using its ATSC or QAM tuner. I don’t know how Sony can get away with this, promising something but not delivering it.

Customer Review: Awesome television!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We purchased this television for our bedroom. I read previous reviews on Amazon and this influenced our purchase. Previously we purchased the Sony Bravia 52″ 1080 from Amazon and were extremely happy with the picture quality. I highly recommend both televisions.
Customer Review: NIce TV
I bought this TV at Best Buy for $447. Was surprised at how light it was, especially compared to the 25″ tube TV it was replacing. Anyway, got it out of the box, attached the stand, attached the cables and it was ready to go. Automatic setup took less than 5 minutes, and even found HD channels I didn’t know I had (Explanation: I have Time Warner cable and this would just be plugged directly into the coax with no cable box. Previously I was only seeing about 70 SD channels, this TV found about 90 SD and about 10 HD channels, so I was pleasantly surprised.)

Customer Review: Watch out for Sony quality
We purchased the Sony 32XBR4 (a couple of versions ago) and we were very happy with it until last week. The picture turned into vertical stripes. Called Sony. Sorry, out of warranty. (by 4 months!) Repair shop said it’s likely that the LCD panel is dead, meaning it’s cheaper to replace the TV. I checked the reviews on Amazon of the TV we bought, and there are many reports of the same problem as our TV. Sony, are you reading this? People read this and don’t buy your TV’s. Our older 27 inch WEGA is still working like the day we bought it. How is it that the quality can go down so fast? I believe the issue is more widespread than just our TV. Grrrr.
Customer Review: Mine lasted about 14 months.
The picture was incredible while it lasted. After about 14 months my 32″ HD Sony started displaying a double image. The TV repair man said it was a bad solder connection that would have costed a couple of hundred dollars to fix. I’m back to watching our old tube TV. The old technology is much more reliable and costed a lot less. Save your money, folks.

Customer Review: Sony XL-2400 lamp for Grand WEGA LCD TV
This lamp came from a third party vendor named VANN’S. I got it on time with no issues. Installation was extremely simple. It literally took me longer to open the box than it did to replace the bulb. This product includes the entire assembly. If you’re handy and want to save a few bucks, you may consider purchasing just the bulb and reusing the old assembly that is not affected when the bulb burns out. I will do that next time.
Customer Review: Replacement bulv for Sony rear projection TV
This item came well packaged and required no assembly. Item was received within 2 days and was fairly easy to install. It took a little more force to get it to snap into the side of the tv than I thought it would but it was still easy.
The picture is as good now as when the tv was new.

I purchased this TV off of Amazon after months of research. TV was perfect out of the box. Blue-ray and HDTV images pop. Its like looking through a clean window. I strongly recommend this TV!
Customer Review: Best TV I have ever owned
I purchased this TV through Amazon about 3 weeks ago. I ordered it on Thursday, it was delievered the next Tuesday. It arrived in perfect condition.
All the positive reviews I have read here, were correct, and spot on. Most of the negative reviews were (I felt) stretching it a bit, or I just plain don’t
notice.
